In March 2024 we opened the Cinco Lunas Retreat Center Andalusia and Vegetarian Conscious Guesthouse.

The Cinco Lunas is a magical hidden oasis with its charming, playful Andalusian country house and the lush green garden amidst the Andalusian dry vegetation, situated on a fresh river and surrounded by babbling water canals.

Our retreat venue is located near the dreamy white village of Zahara de la Sierra in the Sierra de Grazalema nature park in Andalusia, Spain. The lovingly designed and furnished farm house has served as a guest house for over 20 years.

Our ceremony dome with wooden floor and fire place in the middle is our sacred temple for holding ceremonies. The perfect space for yoga and meditation classes, breathwork and ecstatic dance sessions. Or any kind of work with the focus on health, growth and transformation.

The Cinco Lunas Retreat Center Andalusia is a safe and mindful space where inner work can be done and transformation can take place. A place where people meet to process and dance, to laugh and cry, to feel their emotions and transform them with joy.

With the Cinco Lunas Vegetarian Conscious Guesthouse we want to create a mindful place where our guests take time to rest and to reconnect. With nature and with themselves. A vegetarian and alcohol-free place where like-minded people meet.

We have been working in the area of process work, holistic healing and inner transformation for over 10 years. Through our own inner work and the work in our retreats that we have shared in various countries in Europe over the last decade, we are able to open a space and an energy field for transformation and process work, which we have implemented with clear focus and intention at the Cinco Lunas Retreat Center.

We offer the Cinco Lunas Retreat Center Andalusia for rental for a minimum of 3 nights or longer. As well as daily rental or half-day rental and hourly rental if available.

During times when we have not planned or booked retreats, we offer Cinco Lunas as a vegetarian, alcohol-free, conscious guesthouse for mindful holidays. And depending on the current available offers at our place during your stay, you may have the opportunity to take advantage of offers such as yoga, meditation, sound healing, massages or similar.

The Sierra de Grazalema natural reserve is a popular holiday area for Spaniards and foreign visitors. It is a popular area for hikers and nature enthusiasts from all over the world.

The area around Algodonales and the Sierra de Grazalema mountain range is also one of the most popular paragliding areas in the world. Tandem flights can be booked and paragliding courses can be taken. Or experienced paragliders can independently explore the Sierra de Grazalema from above. You can even fly together with the vultures.

If you prefer to stay on the ground, you can go on river hikes. From Cinco Lunas you can go along or even through the Rio Bocaleones to the Bocaleones Canyon. You can also take guided canyoning tours through the Garganta Verde Canyon, at whose heights Europe’s largest vulture colony is located. Vultures represent transformation.

You might have a trip to the enchanting village of Zahara de la Sierra, which is one of the “Pueblos Blancos” – the 30 white villages of Andalusia and also one of the “Los Pueblos Más Bonitos de España” – the most beautiful Spanish villages.
In summer time, you can cross the Zahara de la Sierra lake by canoe or standup paddleboard. During the day or during full moon rides.

Not far away is the city of Ronda, which is a UNESCO world heritage site thanks to its impressive historic bridge and romantic old town, where Hemmingway once spent several summers as a part-time resident.

Or take a cycling tour in the area of Ronda or along the Via Verde de la Sierra, one of Andalusia’s most scenic cycling routes.

The city of Seville is about 1 hour and 30 minutes away and is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe with its beautiful historical buildings.

It takes about 1 hour and 45 minutes to reach the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean in the west or the Mediterranean in the east.

The impressive Caminito del Rey mountain trail can be reached in about 1 hour and 30 minutes. The Caminito has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. For some it’s probably a dizzying tour due to its height.

The Cinco Lunas Retreat Oasis is a project of the Austria based non-profit association Visiones, which was founded in 2019 by us Désirée and Markus (both from Germany).
For many years we have had a vision that keeps coming back and becomes more and more present. The vision of a center for transformation, holistic healing and spiritual growth.
Since 2012 we have been on a committed path of our own transformation, healing and inner growth. In learning to walk this path, we have dedicated our lives to supporting others on their individual journeys and sharing with others what we have learned so far.
With the Cinco Lunas we are now bringing our vision into reality and launching our first retreat center.

We have a long-term lease on Cinco Lunas from Gonzalo, who owns the place and has run Cinco Lunas as a guesthouse for over 20 years. He is still the operator of Cinco Lunas, but now more in the background. He is now focusing more on his passion of playing chess.

From Málaga Airport, take a bus or taxi to the Málaga main bus station. From there, take a bus via Ronda to Algodonales or Zahara de la Sierra.
From either Algodonales or Zahara de la Sierra, we can offer a pick-up service to Cinco Lunas, or you can take a taxi (approx. 15 minutes from Algodonales / approx. 5 minutes from Zahara de la Sierra).

• Return trips: usually 1 bus per day (morning)
  A bus change in Ronda might be required.

From Seville Airport

From Seville Airport, take a bus or taxi to Plaza de Armas bus station. From there, there is a bus connection to Algodonales.
From Algodonales, we can offer a pick-up service to bring you to Cinco Lunas, or you can take a taxi (approx. 15 minutes).

• Weekdays: usually 2 buses per day (morning & evening)

• Weekends & public holidays: 1 bus per day (morning)

• Return trips: up to 3 buses per day on weekdays, 1 in the evening on weekends & public holidays

From Jerez de la Frontera Airport

From Jerez Airport, take a bus or taxi to the Jerez main bus station. From there, there is a bus connection to Algodonales.
From Algodonales, we can offer a pick-up service to Cinco Lunas, or you can take a taxi (approx. 15 minutes).

• Weekends & public holidays: 1 bus per day (morning)

• Return trips: usually 2 buses per day on weekdays, 1 in the evening on weekends & public holidays

It is possible to book a large taxi from a nearby village for an airport shuttle service. The prices for a pick-up from the airport to Cinco Lunas with a large taxi for up to 8 passengers are:

• from Seville airport – approx. € 170,-
• from Jerez de la Frontera airport – approx. €  130,-
• from Málaga airport – approx. € 220,-

Smaller standard taxis are available at lower prices.

Rental car:
